Timotheos Bousdoukos runs MTA Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH in Hamburg. He had taken over an existing firm, inheriting legacy clients, some of whom simply weren’t profitable anymore. His goal: raise the contribution margin, increase revenue, and be able to selectively part ways with bad clients.

Before that, Timotheos was with a traditional marketing agency that managed his website but didn’t deliver real client acquisition. He wanted to work with someone who knows how to generate client enquiries predictably. Over the course of a year, we built exactly that: Facebook and Instagram advertising that brought him 20 to 30 client enquiries every month.

As a result, he consistently had a pool to choose from and could hand-pick the clients that were truly the right fit for him, month after month, sometimes individual clients, sometimes entrepreneurs who outsourced several companies to him at once. This predictable inflow made it possible to drop unprofitable legacy clients and noticeably raise the contribution margin. We also ran recruiting campaigns via Meta, generating enough applications that Timotheos could easily attract new employees and hire one or two of them.
